How many times have you walked right into a room and was overwhelmed by how picture-perfect it looked? Almost like they had come off the pages of an interior design magazine? Actually, getting a room to look that way isn’t really so tough if you know how to plan and utilize a space, choose good colors, beautiful fabrics and plush furniture (but then, if everybody can do that, there wouldn’t be a need for interior designers anymore).

The truth is, not many of us like to live in a showroom, unless if you are one who can upkeep that kind of look on a daily basis. Instead, think about making a room really individual and unique by reflecting the distinct personality of the person (that’s you!) who lives there. Try to design a room around special pieces that you cherish, family photos or memorabilia from travels. You’d love your room more, I assure you.
